I've been using Soundfonts a lot lately since I often find them to sound more realistic then huge-sized Kontakt libraries and offering more unique presets then regular vsts. Besides that they have a pretty small file size and are extremely easy/fast to load, which makes them great in a fast workflow.💨 To me, they offer a nice middle-ground between one-shots, which there is a huge variety of but lack sound quality, and expensive VSTs & Kontakt libraries which have a limited variety and often lack that something special. ✨ I went through thousands of Soundfonts from all kind of different sources and picked around 100 (since a lot of them are 🗑️), sorting them into 3 Categories: - simple - unique - experimental - since I often find myself, looking for a certain 'vibe' when browsing through presets instead of specifically searching for pads, synths, keys, plucks...
